The same for me, leave the manifolds on, remove the turbo. I did it with all on, but it was heavy and I needed helper as well as using an engine hoist to get it the top of the motor and off as well.
Easy to put the turbo and down pipe connector on later and will do that next time. When I did it all assembled, you had to really move it around and angle it in and under the front cawl a bit or something if I remember, and that was a bit tough to do, because of the weight.
