Checked one source, Auto Parts World, had no listing. Haven't tried others yet. Is this going to be a hard part to find? Also, the clock doesn't work. The Bentley just says replace clock. Any trouble shooting hints re the clock since I will have to remove the instrument panel to disconnect the speedometer cable so might as well fix it if I can. Are these clocks interchangeable with older clocks. The clock in my '81 Dasher, with double the Quantum's mileage still works.

> The previous owner told me he doesn't believe in maintenance but just drive a car into the ground & then replace it. He has not replaced the thermostat, water pump, or radiator. Didn't even change the oil! The car has almost 118,000 miles, quite low for an '82. But it appears it has not had TLC. Said he drove it around 30,000 or 40,000 miles as I recall.

Possible clock repair tips:

Might check that the speedo cable is attached to the back of the speedometer and also at
the transaxle.
