[Vwdiesel] More Quantum Questions? "Hold on 'Bald Eagle' "

I think some of us are jumping the gun...
Remember Bill's last butone post?

"Able to bleed diesel out the line that goes to the return line to the fuel
tank & can see diesel going from filter into the IP. Could changing the
filter possibly help? When removing the injector lines from the injectors I
can't get any indication of fuel flow to the injectors."

So he has fuel passing through the pump. Banjo fuel line connection also
sounds about right...Lifting the lines from the injectors has shown that
there is no fuel through them.... Remember pump used to work but engine ran
slightly hot that was all... My money is on solenoid problem. These pumps
self prime [especially on a Quantum ;o) ] so the fact that diesel is passing
out it's rectum, should be sufficient.
So why is there no fuel out of the lines? Check voltage of solenoid supply
and it's operation...

Mark
