[Vwdiesel] flange seal tool

I too used a bolt and piece of angle iron w/drilled hole to compress the spring.  (I went to the hardware store and bought one of any bolt that looked like it might work, and returned all the losers.)  Before that, I used a ratchet strap around the transmission to compress it.  That worked OK, but it seems like there might be the possibility of tweaking the flange slightly.
