Byran,
I would think you add this to the stack. That way it adds to the system for
oil cooling and you maintain the coolant lines as well.

This could be a dumb question. After I get the sandwich adapter to get the
oil
to and from the external oil cooler, $40 from a place on e-bay.
Do I remove my oil cooler/exchanger and just use this adapter or do I add
this
to the
stack.
I would think I need to remove by Passat oil cooler (much bigger) and go
back to
my stock 1.6
size, then add this to the bottom of it and then the oil filter.
Otherwise, if you are supposed to remove the oil cooler then just block off
the
coolant
hoses???
