I got it started today, after lots of cranking. Let it warm up, radiator fan came on, took it out for a short drive, ran the engine for over 1/2 hour. Loosened the IP so I could tap it towards or away from the engine. When tapped towards the engine it ran smoother & didn't smoke as much, but still was missing. Next thing I will try to do is to loosen each injector hose one at a time to see which cylinder is affected. It didn't do this before so I expect one of the injectors is plugged. What is the best way to clean it out? Would spraying carburetor cleaner into the injector & blowing it out with compressed air work? One party suggested running "diesel purge" or a mixture of "Seafoam" & ATF thru the injectors. After I got the engine good & warm, it still wouldn't start readily. I also noted the engine, during the drive, had much less power than before. Also, is there a good inexpensive way to bench test injectors?
