[Vwdiesel] Is my turbo shot? broken? or should I look elsewhere?

Loren, once again you give me hope!

Brian, yes I'm still outside.  My buddy rented out his garage, so Diesel
Westy #2 is under the 10x20 Costco canopy (STILL waiting on the short
block at the machine shop - since MAY! - this time the main bearings
came up 1/2 short, combined with backorders and bad rings its been too
long.); I don't even have a dry spot for the Jetta at the moment!  (oh,
wait - my Aunt's out of town, and I've got a key. Hmmm...)

I did sell the '94 1.6TD FrankenJetta a couple weeks back.  I just
couldn't keep up with all the 1.6s!  Plus, it left me some cash for all
these other repairs ;)
