[Vwdiesel] '01 Jetta TDI, Head Gasket Update

Disconnected the three coolant lines (in, out, and bleeder) to the egr cooler and used some hoses off the wrecked Passat to bypass it.  Ran the engine for awhile and still getting bubbles.  :(

We are kinda hoping there is still some air in the system from all the lines being disconnected.  

Anybody have thoughts on if it will hurt anything (especially the EGR cooler...) if he drives the car 30 minutes to and from work tomorrow, which would allow us to make sure any air bubbles are burped?
