The front of the car is off and the old rad is out, by gosh, is that thing ugly
looking and was ready to self detruct. How it was keeping the motor as cool as
it was doing, no idea.
The AC Evaporator (the AC rad attached to the cooling rad, right?) looks fine and
show no signs of leaks. I have a new Receiver Drier/Accumulator so I will
replace, the one on the AC Condensor looks fine, but will replace not that
system is open.
So, since the AC Condensor is $154, I think it is worth my while to see if I can
get a rad. / AC place to preasure test it to make sure it is good. I will
replace all O-rings of course in all of the connections when putting things back
together.
My AC leak is still not obvious, but at least this marks a few of the pieces of
the puzzle off as good.
Do you all agree it is worth getting the AC Condenser preasure tested? I am
guessing they have the means to do this.
So that would leave hose leaks or AC Evaporator in the car.
Thanks
