[Vwdiesel] Clutch slipping?

Stalling  from just over idle is not the same as slipping when pulling the 
vehicle up a slope. Your clutch is definitely slipping.
Could be  a worn thin driven plate, or overall wear on clutch, or mal 
adjusted clutch, or even a temporary problem due to ingress of an oil spill, 
which could clear itself as oil burns away...
