[Vwdiesel] Quantum Diesel Parts Needed

I generally have my starters rebuild here locally. The guy only uses German
parts, and they cost about $110. However, on the older diesels, I buy a new
TDI starter for a mk3 (97 or so). They trun the engine over a bit faster,
and help with starting because of that.
That's about the price I've found for injectors as well. BTW, the TD ones
are different than the NA ones. Not sure what sort of issues you will have
swapping them out, but I'm sure it will run different. The NA ones open at
130bar, the TD's at 155, IIRC.
Hope that helps,
Tony
