Hey before I get out of touch for a few days, just wanted wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and remember, if you fry that turkey, turn the oil into fuel!!!
I also have a few things to offer for sale, some of interest to folks on one or more of these groups. I will list them now and if you want to see pics, I can email them after the holidays.
MK1 Rabbit GTI front air dam $60 I purchased this hoping it would go on my 82 Jetta but no such luck so it is available for exactly what I paid plus shipping. It is in really good shape but doesn't come with any mounting hardware.
Diesel Power DigiPD Tuning box for all PD cars, Golf, Jetta, New Beetle and Passat. This is the "easy install" wireless version that you don't have to connect to the gas pedal. I have decided to go back to totally stock on the car in preparation of selling it once the 82 is roadworthy. Anyway, I would like $100 for it but make an offer, it does me no good sitting in the garage. BTW this thing works really well.
A complete Greasecar (www.greasecar.com) WVO kit. I was going to fit it to my 82 but decided not to got that direction. This kit was originally fitted to a TDI but I have the instruction manual to fit to a MKI or II style diesel and the instructions for a TDI install can be easily had. I have a new seal kit for the tank and will clean it and even supply a tube of RTV to finish off the job. I paid $600 plus shipping and would like to get that out of it. Look at the prices on Greasecar and you will see that this is a HUGE price break. Comes with all the valves, control box, switches, hoses, oil temp gauge and fuel level gauge. You may need to source a few things but not much.
Anyway, I will be out of pocket until Sunday night but feel free to email requests and questions. Hayden
