[Vwdiesel] A3 "ignition" switch

The ign sw on my 94 A3 is getting intermittent and needs a transfusion 
of yak fat or guanno to freshen it up.

I know where the little screw is that holds it in place on the A2 but I 
can't  find it on the A3. I sure hope it is removable easily.

Any clues?

Looks like Bentley omits this by intent. only describes removing the 
whole barrel assembly, basically ruining the car.

I will NOT attempt to remove the lock barrel assembly, I'll install a 
row of household toggle switches on the dash first!
