[Vwdiesel] Bad maf on 2000 vw tdi

I took my car over to a friend who has a computer to check the codes.  The
MAF was reading very strange, reading high numbers versus what the engine
was calling for, we replaced the MAF and that solved the problem!
Pretty interesting.  I haven't done a cold engine start since the
replacement, but will see how that goes in the morning.   Thanks for y'alls
help
