[Vwdiesel] Diesel Eurovan in Canada

Best of luck to anybody who tries to bring this (or any) Canadian vehicle
into the US (without a lawyer by his side).

Several years back my sister attempted to buy and bring to the US a
Canadian-spec Toyota pickup truck. After calling the right folks and
getting the supposedly right paperwork together, she was turned away at the
border by different folks with a whole different interpretation of the
rules. They told her she needed to call Toyota and get a letter of
conformity to EPA regs, of course when she called Toyota they had no idea
what she was talking about.

Ended up wasting a lot of time and money and giving up the whole idea.
