Re: longevity questions...

While on the topic of reliability, has anyone out there had there
engine rebuilt? I'm asking cause a friend with an 85 4000Q had to
have his engine rebuilt due to a broken piston ring. His car only
had 120K miles on it. I felt silly after telling him that the 5cylinder
motor is good for 200K miles. After all, our 84 4000Q has 170k miles
on it and doesn't even consume oil. But then his car looks like its
been thrashed a little.

thanks in advance,
Carl DeSousa
