auto-answer mail fiasco

sorry about the inconvenience of the auto-answers coming back out to 
the list.

I had sent mail to majordomo to unsubscribe me prior to leaving (for 
only 3 working days!), but our local gateway bounced it for some 
(&%#*&$% reason.  Unfortunately I was already on the road at that 
point (and had no email access), and didn't know about the bounce.

In the future I'll make certain that I get 'domos ack PRIOR to 
turning on the auto-mail answer...

sorry for the extra bit's on the wire in the interim.
