I haven't finished translating all of the magazines I picked up last
week. But, one had commented about the future of the A4 line. They
stated that a turbo-charged 2.8 was slated for 95/96. They reported
a disappointing 225 hp. This would fall inline with the recent 5-valve
turbo 1.8 that is available in Europe. But I would suspect that a
4-valve 2.8 should be near 225 hp. But maybe the size of the larger
heads didn't fit the slim/trim A4/A6.

BTW, I either "Auto Zeitung" or "Gute Fahrt", discussed the developement
of the 1.8-T. They showed the development and the performance of the
non-turbocharged 1.8 5-valve engine (125hp, btw).
