I recently replaced the radiator on my 1988 90Q - The dealer wanted ~$400
for the part, plus labor. I found the part at a local (Phoenix, Arizona)
radiator warehouse for $220. Then had the dealer install it. The labor
time is about 4 hours because they have to remove the power steering pump
reservoir to get at one little suppport bolt way down there.
My 90Q has 138,000 miles on it with few problems, till now. Up till now the
brakes and the catalytic converter were replaced (In addition to "regular"
items like belts, Oxygen sensor, etc.). Now I need a new 3rd gear synchro
(presently *un*synchronized), clutch and front shocks (yes, the clutch and
shocks are origniall.).
Any ideas on costs, recommendations, etc for my poor transmission, shocks
and clutch?
