If you are really adventurous, try this:
for my 87 4000S, 4-cyl, I made my own wires with a little creativity. I
used the factory connectors from a set of Bosch wires, (which were junk wires)
and used a stainless steel, racing wire (8mm) combined with the factory
connectors. I have had many problems with all wires except for the "factory"
Audi wires. The Bosch aftermarket wires are NOT the originals! The ones that
I bought were cheap, I think American made wires with the Bosch name on them.
Keep this in mind: Not all Bosch is created equal. European subscribers will
probably get the "REAL" Bosch wires, but here in N.America, the are most
likely the junk ones. It's hard to belive I know, but...
