     Steve, When I first got my '83 TQC, the center bearing of the propshaft
was groaning lightly, all the parts fiche seemed to say replace the shaft,
which I wasn't willing to do. My service lit said to lube the centre bearing
periodically. I did this and the groan has gone away.( I say this quietly in
case she hears me!)

I'm curious from a tech standpoint, is there a way to replace that bearing
separately/ can we get the part?

I believe this bearing is the same piece as on my 4000qs, but in that case
the propshaft is sealed to prevent contamination. So in that case I don't
have the option to maintain the bearing. Eventually I'll have to face the
thought of replacing that bearing creatively or start saving for a propshaft.

Any theories?
