I went through this in real life just before thanksgiving ... over a day I
got the handle off, failed to fix it, then got the dealler to do it.
The handle is held extrenally by two screws on the end of the door, and one
under the chrome door strip. It is then held by two plastic ball sockets.
One for a lock and one for the handle.
But I couldn't never get the adjustment quite right and ended up locking
the door and not being able to unlock it!
