I noticed this as well and have acquired one of these to install on my '85
4000 ... I would have done so already but I may be forced to autocross the
car this year since my EP BMW 530i is still under construction and I don't
want to get bumped out of H-stock.

I also picked up the rear disc brakes and will install them as well ...
someday.  (BTW, the VR6 also looks like it can be made to fit my 4000 with a
bit of work -- I've been told the transmission will be difficult to install
-- and I may try this someday as well.)
