I haven't taken one of my little motors out, but just a thought:  maybe 
you could get one at Radio Shack or perhaps one of those that run the 
model cars (probably more durable).

Just my $0.02 as Bob Meyers ( if I remenber correctly ) 
would say

$0.01 = those ( Radio S*** ) motors are designed for a very
	short life, a couple of hundred hours at most.

$0.01 = be careful of using a motor designed to run with
	the shaft HORIZONTAL in a vertical shaft position.
	If the motor is only designed to run horizontal,
	it will NOT have THRUST BEARINGS, and will have
	perhaps less than half of its rated life if used
	with the shaft vertical.
