Ah Pabst-EBM (two of my favorite companies recently merged.)

I am really impressed with PABST. About four years ago I
decided that they made the best fan for a new chassis we
were designing. Over the last three years we have shipped
over fifty systems, EACH WITH TWELVE Pabst 4124GX 24 volt
dc fans in them. The field service personnel have not yet
seen a SINGLE fan go bad yet. Our customers typically
run their systems 24 hours a day.
Also, we have about six of seven such systems in house,
same story.

Unfortunately, I just looked in their catalog, didn't
find a fan small enough. But I do remember a small fan
made by MICREL that might do the job.
