.....I put MTL in my 4000s a few months back. It solved a grind problem
I had shifting in reverse when cold. Overall action was much smoother.
The viscosity of MTL is 75/80W, a littler lower than Audi recommends (?)
Redline also makes a MT90 synthetic that may be more appropriate for
Audi/VW trans but I could'nt find it. MTL seems to be very good and
I recommend it.
