The Rags and Audi.

I was whistling through the microfilm records of 
old issues of Car & Driver (apologies to those
who cant stand the magazine) last night, and noticed
a whole lot of articles on Audis.

In fact in the years 1986,87,88 i saw at least 10-12
articles on Audis. I also managed to find the issue
that treated the "unintended accelaration problem",
and was pleasantly surprised to read C&D vehemently
supporting Audi all the way.

Some nice articles comparing a Quattro vs. non-Quattro
5k on dry tarmac..etc.

I have this feeling that the people who wrote about 
Audi in those days have since left C&D and moved,
maybe to Automobile. That would explain why C&D hardly
has any Audi related tests/articles...

thoughts, anyone ?
