Bay Area Internet Quattro Owners Meeting
Wanted to post a notice of an upcoming meeting of a few of the members of
the quattro mail list who are located in the San Francisco Bay Area for
the first of what I hope will be a series of regular meetings. Seven people
including myself have expressed an interest in meeting, but of course any-
body else is welcome as well (no champers or free airfare :). The meeting
is scheduled for:
Saturday, 4 March 1995 at 12:30 p.m.
with the location and directions being:
Fresh Choice Restaurant (actually adjacent parking lot for Radius Inc.)
333 Moffett Park Drive
Sunnyvale,CA
Getting there from US 101:
o From 101S take the East 237 offramp (immediately after passing Moffett
Air Field) (101 North - take the Mathilda Ave North offramp and skip the
next step)
o Take the first offramp (Mathilda Ave) and turn left (going north) at the
light ... Yes you could have stayed on 101S and gotten off at Mathilda,
but the ramp from 101 to 237 is more fun (:
o Turn right at Moffett Park Blvd (right after going underneath the overpass
and past the light for the westbound offramp).
o Moffett Park Blvd is a frontage road ... Fresh Choice/Radius is ~0.5 mi
down and is on the left.
Getting there from West Route 237:
>>> You will pass Radius/Fresh Choice, it will be on the right side of the
freeway ~0.5 mile before the Mathilda offramp <<<
o Take the Mathilda Avenue offramp (last before the 101 interchange), turn
right onto Mathilda and then take another right at the first light,
Moffett Park Blvd.
o Moffett Park Blvd is a frontage road ... Fresh Choice/Radius is ~0.5 mi
down and is on the left. (WOW ... deja vu!)
Four of us own ur-Qs, and I'm hoping that they'll all be there, but one may
not be able to make it. Some of the cars have IA mods and other things, so
it should be good for finding out how well the aftermarket stuff does. I'm
not putting together any agenda for this meeting ... we'll probably be busy
checking out each other's cars and comparing interests, perhaps talking
about future topics. I'll try to be there no later than noon, so look for
a red ur-Q sitting out in the middle of the open parking lot. (I hope that
Radius isn't having an open-house or anything!)
If anyone out there would like more information or has any questions, I can
be contacted via e-mail at <s_buchho@kla.com> or at my work phone, which is
(408) 456-6244. I have encouraged the group to collect ideas for future
topics and send them to me. I will also have copies made of the documents
that Dave Lawson sent (schematic, Maintenance & Adjustments & Intro Service
Training).
I'm REALLY looking forward to it!
