Embarrassed to be an AOL-er
I've been a daily reader and periodic contributor to this list for 6
months, and I must confess that just about every time a message says
"subscribe" or "unsubscribe" or "test" or anything else moronic, it is usually
from XXXXX@aol.com. On behalf of AOL (and I'm not an employee just an old
member), I apologize. The problem is, AOL has an easy mailing list browser
which encourages sign-ups. That, combined with 2 million members means
trouble for lots of mailing lists.
Just so that this message is not another "A" h"OLe" message, I do want to
get some feedback on a paint problem. I found my 1991 90Q 20V on a used car
lot in August 1992 with 3,400 miles on it. It had two sections where the
paint was mildly faded probably due to sun exposure (although the leather
interior was fine). Light compounding and waxing brings it back, but those
sections go "flat" fairly quickly.
Any ideas for a longer-term solution? Otherwise, I've had 40,000 blissful,
perfect miles.
