Since the 4000 oil cooler is plumbed into the cooling system, this makes
perfect sense.  BTW, removing the a/c condensor on my '85 4000 (it lives
again!) dropped the coolant temp by 2 notches and the oil temp has never
gone over the 2nd notch above 60 ... even while flogging it last weekend
in the near 90-degree weather we experienced.  Of course, it wasn't very
cool INSIDE the car but that's another matter altogether...
