Gotta agree with Scott (Kinda think I inspired this post...)  Had One tank of
Mobil 93 octane in my car ('87 5KCSTQ IA2) and all of the sundden, never
berfore, I was getting the dreaded loose marbles sounds (aka Detenation) any
time I got more than 1.5 bar showing on the dash gauge, and this was at 50
deg F air temp and the temp gauge WAY below half more like 1/4!  SO I had to
dump in some redline octane booster until I can get this crap out of my tank
and put in some of that LoneRanger gas (Amaco silver premium)  

Moral of this story folks, Even though I thought I was putting good stuff in
the tank we gotta watch an listen to what were doing to our toys.
