Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this an "open" list?  This means anyone
who knows how enough about operating a computer to subscribe (and I would
hope this includes those who modify chips!) is not only free to do so but
also free to post any message they want about any subject they choose...

Unless someone volunteers to moderate the list or Dan chooses to close it
to subscribers only, I don't see any practical way to prevent anyone from
plugging their products (or not plugging them, as the case may be).  If I
were king for a day, I'd certainly try to find some way to prevent people
from blatantly plugging their products but until that happens, I think we
are stuck with the situation as it is and shouldn't waste any more effort
endlessly discussing it. 

Now, let's get back to talking about parts prices and electrical problems
and boost levels and locked diffs...
