I dont have any Goodyear horror stories to add although I can add 
servicing stories surrounding my Q, my wife's Olds and my sone Geo 
Prism.  Not to split hairs--I have so few left--but I think the problem 
you describe is more one of attitude than competence.  I run into all 
kinds of people in all kinds of businesses who just dont seem to give a 
damn.  Makes no matter how much $$$ you are spending, the attitude seems 
to be that you can take it or leave it.  As an acquaintance of mine once 
said:  "Its good enough for who its for."
