                   AUDI?S HALF-YEAR SALES BEST SINCE 1990
  
         AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Audi of America, Inc. reported U.S.
         sales of 1,521 for the month of June, representing a 31.5
         percent increase over the same period last year when sales
         were 1,157.
              In the first six months of 1995, Audi?s U.S. sales
         rose by 34 percent to 8,693, as compared to 1994?s
         half-year mark of 6,487.  The 1995 half-year total was the
         best figure posted by the German luxury car company in the
         U.S. since 1990.
