Splash shields
Someone just posted about replacing all of their brake "splash shields",
(Glenn?). I was wondering, how useful are those little buggers? Mine
are rusty, and always seem to bend so that they require an attitude
adjustment via a screwd. and hammer so they don't sqeak on down the road.
This happens every time I have the front end apart.(aka spring replacement)
It seems to me, if they don't serve some earth-shattering purpose, that
removing them would improve cooling, thus reduce fade in the brakes.
Thoughts?
