Since it would be unethical for Dan to copy one of Ned's EPROMs (thereby stealing Ned's intellectual property) I would suggest that Dan take his stock EPROM and send it to someone who has Ned's upgrade for comparison. I've got the upgrade
for my 87 5kcstq (stage I) and I know that the upgrade changed the max boost
from 1.4 to 1.7 bar because I didn't have time to change the wastegate spring
for several days after I got the modified CPU back. The max boost also cuts off
at exactly 1.7 - it would be tough to do this by externally dividing the
pressure.
I'd be glad to read my EPROM and compare it to Dan's - but don't even hint at
copying it at Ned's expense.
Easier yet - Dan can post his hex dump so that anyone with a programmer can do
a compare without comprimising Ned's property.
