On my 87 5Ks, a couple years back my friend helped me change oil on the
car. We started car after the change to make sure there wasn't any leaks.
Car ran fine. Then friend noticed oil fill cap sitting above the headlight.
Ooops! Fergot to put it on. I must have a clogged crankcase vent. It's a
2.2 10V. At least when I last checked.
Hey Bob. Did you see the Motorweek TV show this past week? It showed too
mechs put in a SUPERCHARGER in a Explorer in 6 hours. Gave the thing better
mid range performance and lowered 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. They said any
fool with home tools can do it. Installation can be bit tight. And it
costs!!!
