Brake warning light

Thanks for all the suggestions.  Turns out that the flashing brake 
warning light on the central warning 
panel was due to a broken hydraulic fluid pressure switch.  The 
switch had failed in such a way that 
the two terminals made no connection with or without pressure.  One 
side had also failed to ground. 
By disconnecting only one wire the light would still flash if the 
other wire was connected to the terminal 
that had failed to ground!  That's why this was so confusing to me at 
least.  New switch from Carlsen 
fixed problem.
