I finally got a quattro (well, sort of...) - Part 1

For a long time, I've been lusting for an Audi quattro.  The years I spent
being showered by rocks thrown up by Mr. Buffum.  The ride I got with Bruno
Kriebach.  The 'Batmobile' on the Olympus rally (actually, that one looked so
bad I started doubting.)  Hans Stuck throwing his Trans-Am car abound with
wild abandon, then yodeling when he won.  And on, and on, and on...
Well, last week I bought a VW Quantum Syncro Wagon.  OK, I know it's not
really an Audi, but that's splitting hairs.  It's got a 5 cylinder engine and
all wheel drive, and that't good enough for me!  I like to think of it as my
Audi in Wolfs(berg) clothing!
The first thing I did was throw away the rotted-out exhaust system and put in
a 2 1/4" straight pipe with a Dynomax Turbo muffler.  Ah, what sweet music!!
 My first tank of gas went quickly as I drove all over town going through the
gears just to hear it.  I haven't done anything like that since I was a
teenager.  Of course, there are a lot of things I haven't done since I was a
teenager, but that's another story.
