Ain't it true.  For my latest near miss, I almost had a another source
(or more accurately a factory source for accumulators.  It seems
our precious bomb is manufactured for the hydraulics industry
outside of audis realm, which should mean the part is cheap

Well my wife works for a hydraulics distributor and the search 
began.  Unfortunately, when the techs took one look at the fittings
they said forget finding a local equivalent, it'll have to come from 
germany - so right back where I started.

On another note, has anyone dealt with steering racks from AAR?
