O2 Sensor revisited


Requarding the O2 sensor on my 20V... I have been having a problem lately 
where when warm and on the hiway, the car would lose 90% of its power, 
and just go flat. Then it would clear up, then go flat, etc etc...
I tried disconnecting all kinds of sensors (one at a time) and NOTHING.

This morning I disconnected the o2 sensor, and the car is fine.

QUESTION: Am I now just ignoring a bigger problem of misadjustment 
somewhere or do you think it actually can be the o2 sensor?

I thought when they go bad, they just go really bad, not in and out...
