Locking the rear diff at speed on dirt, snowy and icy roads
is a BLAST if you are prepared for the way the car will
handle; power-on oversteer and beautiful rally-style
four-wheel drifts. Really helps to eliminate most of the
inherent understeer. I just swap the two hoses on the
center diff-lock servo on the 4KQ and now can lock either
the center or the rear, or neither, but not both. I like to lock
only the center diff at hoghway speeds on wet/snowy/icy
roads for better stability and poor-man's ABS. The rear
diff-only lokced is a BLAST but do be careful! Dunno how
to do this on the newer "smart" cars though.....
