A4 lease/S6 in Mass.

Where did you get the $500 per month lease price for an A4 from?
Even an A6 doesn't lease for that.

A local dealer (Pass & Weisz, Burlington MA) advertised the following
A4 lease last weekend:

A4, including auto trans, all-weather package & dest. charge,
36 month closed end lease,
$2500- down, $299- per month, purchase option $15878-.

I'm sure a 5speed A4 Quattro would be in the same range.

For those in Mass. who are interested in the S6, a salesman at the
same dealer gave me some interesting info. Although the S6 seems to
be only 49 state legal (doesn't pass California, and new Mass.
emissions) some of them are coming through with the sticker stating
that they ARE California legal!!!!. These specific vehicles can
then be legally registered in Mass.!! He told me he had already done
an S6 sedan and was about to register an S6 wagon with a similar
sticker. Maybe I should go talk to my bank manager....
