Heh...  My 5ks probably has about 10% of the clearcoat left.  OK, 
maybe 20%.  It MAY have been caused by whatever treatment the 
previous owner gave the paint, but I think the most likely cause was 
just a poor paint application process at Audi.  Certain years of GM 
pickups had a similar problem.
