You MIGHT be able to, but if you figure in the cost of a 20v engine + 
labor, you'd probably be better off bying another car w/ the 20v in it. 
:)  Don't mean to put you off, just saying it would be a real b*tch.  You 
might be better off getting a GTI head.  My personal preference would be 
the 8v, but a few like the 16v version.  Or, you could put in a Garret 
turbocharger, if you're real handy routing oil/coolant lines. :)  It 
would be cheap (50-100 bucks for a turbo from junkyards), but definately 
labor intensive.  That, and having to modify intake and exhaust.  Or you 
could always buy a car with that in it. :)  Let me know how it turns out 
for you.
