One addition to cleaning interior of cars, twice a year, I rent a 
carpet cleaner.  Ask for a narrow nozzel (approx. 4-5" wide).  I take 
out the seats then go nuts. Scrub carpet shampoo in real good with a 
brush then use carpet cleaner to suck it up.  You would not believe how 
much dirt you will pull up if your cars more than 5 years old.  I suppose 
a really good shop vac would work to if you have one.  Try to do this 
before a bright sunny day so you can get the interior to dry really well.
