Radiator woes
Part of the top output tube, a ring about 3/4 inch wide, broke off
inside my hose. Looks like the previous owner over-tightened the
clamp. I moved the clamp as close the radiator housing as possible,
and it appears to be working as a temporaty fix.
Do I need to take the radiator into a shop and have a new outlet tank
installed, change radiators, or is there a home fix? Any type of epoxy
or plastic weld that will work? The hose barb, and a little more, is
the part that broke off, and I am concerned that under long trip
conditions, the hose may slide off the remaining part of the outlet.
