Wrapping the ENTIRE exhaust system on a NON-turbo car can also cause a lot
of problems. I did this once on my 4k and cracked the exhaust manifold in
3k miles; a friend did it on his '87 Mustang LX 5.0 and junked his headers
in less than a month. In both cases, the metal itself became very brittle
and simply started to flake/crack near the head ... unless you're ready to
replace your manifold/headers on a frequent basis, like racers do, I think
you'd do well to start your wrapping at the cat or maybe the turbo and let
the GOBs play with all the NASCAR tricks. :^)
