Recent thread re repair of VDO Speedometers... Just went out into garage & pulled some old files: In '88 found "Willinger" [electric - I think] in/near Modesto, Calif (209 area code): replaced, fixed gears on the trip odometer for me for our '82 jetta's VDO speedometer. Thought this might be helpful. Larry
