The thread was quite a few months back (9 mos or more), at the time the
merits of Superchips and TAP chips were being discussed.  There was a lengthy
discussion about a Superchips "modified" computer for a 5kcstq (i guess
that's an accurate statement)--customer believed they got their money's
worth, and someone x-posted a response from Peter Wales, president of
Superchips (btw, USA or GB?), who basically admitted that the "chips" were
not modified.  Subsequently, a post by someone who compared the before and
after chips on an IA modifed computer for an ur-q--same thing, if I recall
correctly.  Note that this seems to be apples and oranges (ur-q, 5kcstq)--a
simple spring controlled wastegate (ur-q) and a knock-sensor/computer
controlled wastegate (5kcstq).
